I am out of the hospital. I stayed for 18 days. That was shorter than my last stay. However, I managed very well, thank GOD, during my stay. I never really got bored and not once did I get depressed. I ate well, and my spirits were up. I guess I felt good in part knowing that that would be my last chemo visit. If I go to transplant later this month, that will be the last hospital visit. Then this ordeal will be over, I can finish graduate school, go back to work (eventually) and resume my life as usual. I thank GOD everyday for my many blessings. Most people stay in the hospital for 30 days and I got out early. I feel ok, I am not tired, sick, in pain, and my appetite is good. Hopefully, I can gain back some of those pounds I lost.
I came home on Monday, by cab. I did not tell Ayanna I was coming home so I surprised her and Emma. It is so great to be out of the hospital. I can move around somewhat freely, and eat the food I want.
I need some projects to work on. I redesigned my website, created a website called the Daughety Link (an online newsletter), created an HTML site for Harlem Brewing Company, finished G2 Marketing, worked on AnthonyandAyanna.com and worked on CJ’s site. I was quite busy. When I go in for my transplant I need just as many projects.

I am in IHOP today, and I feel relatively good.
Over the weekend we went to Anthony’s house and to one of CJ’s baseball games. We went to Anthony’s house on Saturday and CJ’s game on Sunday. Anthony wanted Ayanna to assess his house for paint choices.
On Sunday we drove to Princess Anne on the Eastern Shore to see CJ play baseball against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get there but it was a great trip. We get tired of just sitting around the house and although money is tight, it was a relatively cheap trip. We just needed about a half of tank of gas and some fast food money. We have to plan to do things like that every weekend, just to get away.
In about a month it will be one year since my initial diagnosis. It has been a long ride, but an interesting one. The worst thing about this trip has been the long hospital stays. Maybe, I should figure out a way to promote for shorter hospital stays. Luckily, I have shorter stays in the hospital than normal. The last time I stayed was 18 days which is about 12 days shorter than average.
