I am back in the hospital with great news. The doctors were saying that my counts would not come back up when I was in IPOP. They said there was so much Leukemia in my bone marrow that my red blood, platelets and white blood cells would not come back. Just about every time I went to IPOP I had to get platelets, red blood or both. However, things changed last Wednesday and my counts began to recover on their own. On Friday the doctor called me and said “it’s a miracle” there was no sign of Leukemia in the preliminary exam. I told him I had been praying. I have been praying and a number of other people have been praying for me. Now, I am back for my final chemo visit. After this comes the transplant.

I have been in the hospital for 8 days now. I came in last Thursday night. I am doing well. I am in good spirits, which is so important when you are in the hospital with many limitations. I have been praying to God to get me through and he has been answering my prayers.
