We are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of my initial diagnosis of cancer.  It was Mother’s Day weekend when I went in the hospital complaining of pain in my chest.  Now after more than 10 hospital stays, hair loss, and fatigue I am alive, well and waiting for the final act, in curing my disease—the transplant.  I was realeased from the hospital a long time ago, It has been a month and 7 days.  My counts have still not come completely up.  I was told it could take about 60 days for counts to completely recover.   This has been the longest time I have gone with my counts down.  I am slowly gaining my weight back.  I am 145.
